This Position includes:
- Competitive compensation,

- 3+ years experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues,
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail,

Other Requirements:
- Well groomed, neat appearance,
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record,

If you haven’t checked your air filter in a while, now is a good time. With the cold weather, your HVAC system or furnace is running frequently to keep your home at the temperature you set. The HVAC system or furnace pulls air from inside the home through an air filter and into the unit. The air filter traps pollutants such as pet hair, dust and other particulates and keeps them from entering the HVAC system or furnace.

As the filter continues to trap dust and debris, the filter gets clogged and the air can not travel to the HVAC system or furnace properly. This leads to

High energy bills
Health concerns
System failure

Changing the air filter regularly is a good practice. How often you change your air filters in your HVAC system or furnace depends on the indoor air quality in your home. If you have pets, you should change your air filters every 2 months to keep the air clean. If you have anyone in your family who has allergies, you should change the air filter every 6 weeks. This will ensure the air stays clean reducing the amount of dust in the air that could trigger a reaction.

When it comes to air quality, most people will automatically think about the outside air. You may have an image right now of smog filled air caused by traffic jams and smokestacks on buildings. But, have you ever wondered how safe the air is in your home?

The quality of the air in your home can be bad, if not worse than the outside air. Air pollutants can be found in the home causing the air to be filled with particles that contribute to poor air quality. These particles can be brought in from the outside through open windows and doors or from people and pets.

The most common indoor air pollutant is carbon monoxide that escapes into your home from natural gas that is not burned off. Lead particles and asbestos can be found in older homes. These pollutants are released into the air where they are inhaled causing damage to air passageways. Kitchens and bathrooms are another source of air pollutants such as mold and mildew. These rooms typically have higher moisture levels than the rest of the home.

We will cover a few ways to improve the air quality in your home that are simple and effective. So you can breathe easy!
