It seems like a lifetime ago. This is still my favorite faux finish that I've ever done.

Faux painting is making a comeback. I wonder if this old girl has it in her to also to make comeback. 🤔

This was one of my favorite commissions that I have done. I practically became family by the time I was finished painting 5 rooms. Used 5 colors and various techniques to achieve this faux finish. The trompe l'oeil marbled pillars and window frame work was a blast to create.

The creation of a self portrait by the artist behind Artfaux Creations.

I created my first all digital (so to speak) art piece. I was going for a vintage pop art feel.

Selfie: First, I took a selfies with the sun beaming thru tiny blinds.
Extract: Next, I extracted my image from the background.
Filter: Then added a filter.
Paint: Finished by painting using the marker setting.

I wish I had a better photo of this family saying on canvas. I painted the words on canvas and then on the wall painted the mural of the scroll and teasel strings and used wallpaper paste to place the canvas on the painted scroll.
