ery similar to a sibling. After 32 years, he retired and passed the torch on to me. Gathered around a fire is where many of the best moments in life are shared. I find the most joy in my work by helping a family in creating their own personal warm & cozy atmosphere. I truely believe we are a lifestyle company, not a product based company. The mission of myself and my team is to bring comfort and warmth to homes. We offer full installation of all of our hearth products so that you know it is done safely. If your fireplace should need repairs, our technical team is trained to assess and address the issue to get you back up and running as quickly as possible. My team and I look forward to serving you for years to come.

Our Story

In 1985 Bob started a chimney relining business utilizing a specific technique, which brought about the name Chimney Techniques. After a few years in business he recognized the need for a local stove shop on the Harbor and opened his first showroom with only 8 stoves in 1994. He later expanded to the existing showroom on the road to Cosmopolis in 1997. The company continued to grow the product line as well as increase expertise to be able to fully service and install not only wood stoves, but also pellet and gas stoves and fireplaces. Today, the showroom houses nearly 30 different models.

In 2015 his daughter Ryann took over operations and purchased the business in July of 2017. On the same day as the business sale from father to daughter, Chimney Techniques’ product line expanded with the purchase of all remaining inventory from Blues Bros Inc., the Harbor’s longtime pool and spa company whose owners were retiring.

Chimney Techniques has expanded well beyond its name to include 4 different product lines: Fireplaces & Stoves, Spas, BBQ and Patio Furniture. Chimney Techniques is here to bring comfort and warmth to your home.
