Little Sunday job on the books. 50 Gallon, 240 volt electric water heater installed and brought up to code. A proper installation includes an expansion tank and a drain pan with a line, run to a floor drain or sump. At AMP, we like to replace the cold water inlet shut-off valve as well, for future service and maintenance.

Don't get left out in the cold! As we progress farther into Fall and then into the Winter months it's important to make sure the plumbing in and outside your home is winterized to keep things running efficiently.
Outdoor Faucets: If you're noticing any leaks or drips from your outdoor faucets Fall is the time to fix them. A leaking faucet can lead to water damage and severe plumbing issues during the winter months.
Interior shut off valves: Homes may be equipped with an interior shut off valve that is connected to the outside faucets and plumbing. Shutting off the interior valve and opening the outdoor faucet to ensure there is no more remaining water in the line will prevent your lines from freezing.
