The makeover in the bedroom is complete. The new, brighter color, really gives the room a whole new look and feel. We also painted the white trim around the basement steps along with painting the actual steps.

We’ve been putting in some long days this week on multiple jobs. The townhouse job has still been the main project. The patching is almost finished in two of the bathrooms where the plumber had to move the lines. Most of the trim and shoe molding is in where the floors are finished and the vanities are set. The white shoe molding on the darker vanity will be painted to match it. We have the new satin nickel hinges installed on the existing doors which match the new doors and hardware.

We’re doing a quick freshen up coat of paint on these columns before the vines start growing. We’ve done a lot of work in this house throughout the years including the exterior last summer

We’re getting the prep work started on this bedroom and steps. It will be a few trips for patching and sanding then we can start the painting.

We have new color scheme in this suite finished and ready to be back in business tomorrow. This one wasn’t for a new tenant moving in. It was an existing tenant that wanted a new look in their suite.

The townhouse renovation job is starting to come together. The shiplap is installed and has two coats of paint on it. The walls in the living room area are finished and the stairway walls have the first coat on them. All of the doors have the first coat on them as well. The large stairway wall that is still the white primer will be getting an accent finish on it which will tie in with the colors and the other accent walls. The floor installer is installing the basement floor this weekend and the plumber will be here Monday to install the vanities and fixtures in the bathrooms.

The trim install on the staircase is finished and irs been caulked and puttied and its ready for paint. We also have the new doors installed in the basement and ready for paint was well.

The shiplap wall in the dining room is finished and ready for paint!! We will install the corner pieces after we have the first coat on. Then finish coat everything at one time. We also have the bathroom door frame trimmed out and ready for the barn door to be installed.

We’ve made a lot of progress on the townhouse renovation job over the the past several days. Other than a few areas of trim left to install and paint, our part in the basement is finished. The walls and stairway trim have the final coat of paint on them. The baseboards will be painted tomorrow and the bathroom walls will be finished once the flooring and vanity are installed. The main floor crown molding is painted and those walls are ready for the final coat of paint as well. We also have the closets finished and most of the front bedroom is finished. It’s coming together!!

We have most of the trim installed on the main floor, stairways and the upstairs floor. Once we have the new trim caulked and puttied we can paint the crown molding then finish coat the walls. When the walls are painted we will go back through and paint the doors and the baseboards throughout both floors. The final phase will be installing the molding and painting the basement areas. It’s starting to look like a home!!

We’ve had a lot of questions about the detsils of second accent wall at the townhouse job today. Here’s a few pictures of it built and with one coat of the finish paint on it. We also made some progress getting the molding installed in the upper stairway today. It’s all starting to come together. The new ship lap wall in the dining area will be the next accent wall once we begin working on that area

One of the board and batten accent walls is built and has one coat of the finish paint on it. We’re working on the second room which gets a slightly different design. It will have horizontal pieces as well as the verticals for different look. We also have the crown molding installed and painted in the two bedrooms and bathrooms along with the baseboards in the walk in closet.

The molding installation is underway at the townhouse job. We have the windows trimmed out, the crown molding and baseboards installed and the first of the board and batten accent walls ready for paint. All of the white trim boards will be painted the green accent color. Also, The drywall finisher has the kitchen walls blocked for the new cabinets, the drywall installed and the first coat of mud on the tape seams.

The townhouse is ready for the molding to be installed!! All of the ceilings are finished and other than two bathrooms, all of the walls have the first coat of the new color. The accent walls in the bedrooms will be getting a board and batten trim install with all of the trim on those walls getting the accent color. The largest wall in the dining room will be getting ship lap.

Other than the bathrooms and main part of the kitchen,all of the ceilings are finished in the townhouse renovation job. We’re getting started with the new wall color that will be throughout the main area and the stairway. Once we have the first coat of each color in each room we will start installing the new moldings then it will all start coming together.

The new molding has one coat of primer and one finish coat on it. We will be back tomorrow to apply the final coat which is just in time for setting up the new patio furniture that was just delivered.
