Meekins Design has changed locations! We closed up shop at our downtown Albany, OR office, and have moved a couple miles down the road to Tangent, OR where we are currently in the process of building a newer, larger office to house our rapidly growing business. At Meekins Drafting and Design, we explore every option to make your dream structure a reality. In this case, the homeowner wanted a clear span garage with no vertical columns in the middle of the room. We achieved that goal by engineering a 30 foot long, 16 inch tall structural steel beam, supporting roughly 20,000 pounds of load from above. No structure or project is too big!
