Hosta Treasure Trove
Our wonderful and extensive selection of Hostas (Plantain Lilies) have emerged displaying their beautiful and diverse foliage. Few part-shade gardens are truly complete without incorporating the beautiful, versatile, striking and diverse form, size, height, textures, leaf shapes and colors of these delightful plants.
Coming in multiple variations of blue, green, gold, white among others these hardy and gorgeous perennials, perfect for a low-maintenance garden, prefer a light shade to a part shade environment. Note that they are shade tolerant, not shade loving so do be mindful that many Hostas are more vigorous and will show their best colors when given some exposure to sun, such as morning sun with afternoon shade. The mature size will depend on the variety. You will find those that stay under 12 inches, or larger ones that will get 4-5 feet wide!
But whether they be big, small, variegated, bold, unique, sun tolerant, slug resistant etc. - we are sure we'll have the perfect focal point specimen for you somewhere in our Hosta treasure trove.

The Joys of Mechanization!
John showing us how it's done using a tree spade to remove the root balls of various Japanese Maples from the hill to be ball and burlapped for Sale.
These Maples were planted on the hill a few years ago and are now ready for their new homes.
This mechanization is a far cry from the laborious manual process of the past requiring many strong and capable hands, traditional shovels and other quipment.
And now for something completely different and decidedly fishy ...
Everyone meet Edward the newest member of our Twin Branch Family. This extremely handsome fresh water lad is a Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens), commonly known as the Betta.
Betta splendens are considered among the most popular aquarium fish in the world, due to their diverse and colorful morphology and relatively low maintenance.
